Cover, Seat Cushion, Rear: Installation

CAUTION:

When the seat is removed from the vehicle, only use the backrest adjustment lever to move the backrest. Do not use the seat folding lever to move the backrest. Damage may occur to the seat folding mechanism.

  1. Position the seat cushion cover (1) onto the seat cushion (3).
  2. Attach new hog rings (2), securing the seat cushion cover (1) to the seat cushion (3).

  3. Completely, fold the seat back cover (1) to the bottom of the seat back cushion (2).

  4. Position the fabric (1) to the bottom of the seat cushion and seat cushion cover (2).
  5. Tuck the fabric (1) between the edges of the seat cushion cover (2) and the seat cushion.

  6. Position the seat cushion and cover onto the seat cushion frame.
  7. Fasten the J-channel fasteners (2) to the perimeter of the seat cushion frame (3).
  8. Position the seat cover and fasten the hook and loop fastener (1).
  9. Repeat on the opposite side.

  10. Position the front close out cover (2) to the seat cushion frame.
  11. Install the retainers (1) into the front close out cover (2).

  12. Fasten the hook and loop fastener, securing the seat cushion cover to the front closeout cover.
    NOTE:

    Seat belt buckle anchor is only required when servicing the right side seat.

  13. Install the center seat belt buckle anchor. Refer to BUCKLE, SEAT BELT, INSTALLATION .
  14. Position the rear closeout cover (2) onto the seat cushion frame.
  15. Install the retainers into the rear close out cover (2).

  16. Position the seat adjuster cover (1) to the seat.
  17. Install the fasteners (2) into the seat adjuster cover (1) and tighten securely.
  18. Repeat on the opposite side.

  19. Position the inboard side cover (1) to the seat.
  20. Install the fastener (3) and tighten securely.
  21. Install the fastener located to the rear of the inboard side cover (2) and tighten securely.
  22. Install the fastener covers to both of the fasteners.

  23. Position the outboard side cover (3) to the seat.
  24. Align and insert the recliner lever (2).
  25. Install the fasteners (1 and 4) and tighten securely.
  26. Install the fastener cover into the recliner lever (2) and over the fastener (4).
  27. Install the fastener into the rear of the side cover (5) and tighten securely.
  28. Install the fastener cover into the rear of the side cover (5).
