Panel, A-Pillar Trim: Removal
- Partially remove the door opening weatherstrip (3) along the perimeter of the A-pillar trim panel.
- Using trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, starting at the top and working down, pry the A-pillar trim panel front portion (1) retaining clips out from the vehicle A-pillar.
- Starting at the top and working down, pry the A-pillar trim panel rear portion (2) retaining clips out from the vehicle A-pillar.
- Once disengaged, carefully pull the A-pillar trim (2) down to detach away from the headliner.
- Disengage the a-pillar trim's tether (1) from the A-pillar trim (2).
- Raise and release the A-pillar trim (2) from the instrument panel.
- Remove the A-pillar trim from the vehicle.
- If necessary, remove the retainer (2) and separate the front (1) and rear (3) sections of the A-pillar trim.
