Mirror, Rearview: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Lower the upper rear view mirror bezel (1) to disconnect the retainers.
- Lower the lower trim bezel (2) to disconnect the retainers.
- On the lower trim bezel (2), disconnect the internal temperature sensor wiring connector, if so equipped.
- Disconnect the rain sensor (1) wiring connector, if so equipped.
- Open the protective foam tape (2).
- Disconnect the mirror wiring connector, if so equipped.
- Grasp the rear view mirror base (4) and rotate counter-clockwise, approximately 1/6 of a turn. This will release the mirror base retainers (1) from the support bracket (2) lock tabs (3).
- Remove the rear view mirror from the vehicle.
