Cover, Cowl Panel: Removal

Open the hood.
Remove the wiper arms. Refer to ARM, WIPER, REMOVAL .
With the use of (special tool #C-4829A, Remover, Trim) or equivalent, remove the push pin retainers (3) from the base of the cowl panel cover (1).
Release and remove the side weatherstrip (2).
Repeat on the opposite side.

Pull forward to release the rear edge of the cowl panel cover (1) from the windshield channel (2).
Remove the cowl panel cover (1) from the vehicle.
