Door - Front: Door: Removal

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Open the front door.
From with in the door jamb, lift the door wiring harness connector locking retainer (1) upward.
Pull the door wiring harness connector (2) inboard.

Remove the fastener (2) securing the door's check strap to the body side.
Close the door slightly, to cycle the check strap toward the door, to the first catch.
Remove the fasteners (1 and 3) securing the door hinge halves to the body side halves.
With the help of an assistant, lift the door up and then out to remove.
