Insulation, Hood: Removal

  1. Open the hood.
  2. With the use of needle nose pliers or equivalent, squeeze the center tabs of the of the retainers (2) together and pull outward to remove.
  3. Remove the seven retaining clips (2) from the hood insulator (1).
  4. Release the tabs (3) of the hood insulator (1) from the inner hood.
  5. Remove the hood insulator (1).
