FRONT

1. Remove the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL .
2. Working from the inside of the fascia, undo the molding screws (1a) attaching the molding (1b).
3. Release the retainers (2a) and remove the molding (1b).

4. If needed, release the various retainers (1c) and remove the screw (1a) and remove the molding (1b).

5. Working on the inner side of the molding, remove the nut (1a).
6. Remove the nameplate (2a) from the outer side of the molding.

REAR

1. Apply a length of masking tape on the body, parallel to the top edge of the nameplate (2) to use as a guide, if necessary.

2. If temperature is below 21°C (70°F) warm emblem with a heat lamp or gun. Do not exceed 52°C (120°F) when heating emblem.
3. Apply a 2-3 layers of masking tape (2) on the body, around the nameplate (1) to protect the paint finish.
4. Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, from behind the emblem to separate the adhesive backing. Upper liftgate nameplate (1), release the retainers (3) from the body.
5. Remove the masking tape (3) used to protect the paint finish.
   NOTE:

   Do not remove masking tape that has been placed for installation alignment purposes.

6. Clean adhesive residue from body with MOPAR® Super Kleen solvent or equivalent.
