Console, Overhead: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Lower the peripheral mirror (3) on the overhead console (1).NOTE:
Sunroof equipped models will not have the mirror or the fastener. Continue to step 5.
- With a small flat bladed tool, remove the fastener access cover (2).
- Remove the fastener.
- With the use of a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, release the retainers on the overhead console.
- Disconnect the lighting wiring connector (3) and the hands free microphone wiring connector (1).
- Disconnect the sunroof switches wiring connectors, if so equipped.
- Remove the overhead console (2) from the vehicle.
