Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. With the scan tool, read Amplifier DTCs and record on the repair order.
2. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
3. Using the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
4. With the scan tool, read Amplifier DTCs.
  Did the DTC return?
  
  Yes
  - Go to 2
  No
  - Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
RIGHT FRONT TWEETER ELECTRICAL CONNECTION CHECK
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the Right Front Tweeter and Amplifier harness connectors.
3. Check for the presence of loose or damaged connections at the Right Front Tweeter and Amplifier harness connectors.
  Were there signs of any of the connections being loose or damaged?
  
  Yes
  - Restore the correct connections.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go to 3
CHECK THE RIGHT FRONT TWEETER SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN/HIGH RESISTANCE
1. Measure the resistance of the Right Front Tweeter Signal circuit between the Right Front Tweeter harness connector and the Amplifier harness connector.
  Is the resistance below 3.0 Ohms?
  
  Yes
  - Go to 4
  No
  - Repair the Right Front Tweeter Signal circuit for an open or high resistance?
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
CHECK THE RIGHT FRONT TWEETER OPERATION
1. Check that the Right Front Tweeter is working correctly.
  Is the Right Front Tweeter working correctly?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Replace the Right Front Tweeter in accordance with the Service Information. (Refer to REMOVAL .
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
