Lamp, Dome: Installation: Bulb

CAUTION:
Always use the correct bulb size and type for replacement. An incorrect bulb size or type may overheat and cause damage to the lamp, the socket or the lamp wiring.
- Align the ends of the bulb (3) with the bulb holders within the dome lamp unit housing.
- Carefully press the bulb firmly and evenly into the bulb holders until both ends of the bulb are firmly seated.
- Swing the back cover (1) over the back of the lamp housing.
- Press firmly and evenly over the notch on each side of the loose end of the back cover until it snaps into the housing, one side at a time.
- If equipped, engage the Blue And Me microphone wiring (2) into the retainer on the back cover.
- Reinstall the dome lamp unit into the vehicle. Refer to LAMP, DOME, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the 12 volt negative battery cable.
- Power up the high voltage system. Refer to HIGH-VOLTAGE POWER UP .
