Set Condition

The Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) monitors the resistance of the Passenger Seat Belt Tensioner circuits. The ORC will set this DTC if it detects low resistance on the Passenger Seat Belt Tensioner (Anchor) circuits for 2.6 seconds. The DTC will change from active to stored when the ORC monitoring shows the shorted together circuit fault is gone for 2.6 seconds. The multifunction indicator lamp (MIL) will set in the instrument cluster.
