Unit, Headlamp: Removal: Lamp

NOTE:

The headlamp unit combines the low beam and high beam in a single headlamp unit. This lamp is used only on vehicles manufactured for sale in the United States and Canada and replaces the upper front combination lamp unit used on vehicles manufactured for sale in Mexico and Latin America.

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the fascia from the front of the vehicle. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the three screws (1) that secure the headlamp unit (2) to the front fender and the Front End Module (FEM) support structure.
  4. Pull the headlamp unit away from the front of the vehicle far enough to access the wiring connection on the back of the lamp housing.
  5. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the headlamp connector receptacle.
  6. Remove the headlamp unit from the vehicle.
