Unit, Headlamp: Installation: Lamp

NOTE:

The headlamp unit combines the low beam and high beam in a single headlamp unit. This lamp is used only on vehicles manufactured for sale in the United States and Canada and replaces the upper front combination lamp unit used on vehicles manufactured for sale in Mexico and Latin America.

Position the headlamp unit (2) close enough to the front of the vehicle to reconnect the wire harness connector to the receptacle on the back of the lamp housing.
Position the headlamp unit (2) onto the front fender and Front End Module (FEM) support structure.
Install and tighten the three screws (1) that secure the lamp to the vehicle. Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 in. lbs.).
Reinstall the fascia onto the front of the vehicle. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, INSTALLATION .
Reconnect the battery negative cable.
Confirm proper headlamp alignment. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE - LAMP ALIGNMENT .
