Bulb - Low Beam

CAUTION:

Do not contaminate the bulb glass by touching it with your fingers or by allowing it to contact other oily surfaces. Shortened bulb life will result.

NOTE:

The upper front combination lamp unit combines the low beam headlamp bulb and the turn signal lamp bulb in a single lamp unit. This lamp is used only on vehicles manufactured for sale in Mexico and Latin America and replaces the headlamp unit used on vehicles manufactured for sale in the United States and Canada.

  1. Disconnect the negative 12 volt battery cable.
  2. Reach behind the upper front combination lamp unit housing to access and remove the lower protective rubber boot from the back of the housing.
  3. Depress the latch tab (3) on the socket (1) and pull the low beam bulb (2) straight back from the seat in the lamp reflector and out of the lamp housing.
  4. Grasp the bulb firmly by the metal base and pull it straight out of the socket.
