Module, Park Assist: Installation

Position the Park Assist Module (PAM) (4) to the right quarter inner panel near the base of the C-pillar.
Engage the lower mounting tab of the PAM into the stamped pocket (3) in the right quarter inner panel.
Install and tighten the screw (1) that secures the upper mounting tab of the PAM to the right quarter inner panel. Tighten the screw securely.
Reconnect the two (with rear park assist) or three (with front and rear park assist) body wire harness connectors (2) to the PAM connector receptacles.
Reinstall the trim onto the right quarter inner panel. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REAR, INSTALLATION .
Perform the 12-Volt Power Up procedure. Refer to 12 VOLT POWER UP .

NOTE:

If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
