Fascia, Front: Removal

WARNING:
On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, disconnecting the 12-volt battery negative cable alone will not power down the 12-volt system. You must perform the 12-volt Power Down procedure before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.
NOTE:
Base model shown in the illustration, other models typical unless noted.
- On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, power down the 12 volt system. Refer to 12-VOLT POWER DOWN .
- Disconnect the negative 12-volt battery cable.
- Remove the four fasteners (1) securing the fascia to the upper radiator support.
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Open the access door (2) located on the splash shield and disconnect the fog/park lights and the sidemarker lamp. Repeat on the opposite side.
- Remove the splash shield to fascia fasteners (1). Repeat on the opposite side.
- Peel back the splash shield and remove the fender to fascia fastener (1). Repeat on the opposite side.
- Remove the two outboard fasteners (1) located at the bottom of fascia.
- Remove the three middle fasteners (2) located at the bottom of the fascia.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Pull out on the fascia sides at the fender to disengage the retaining tabs.
- Carefully, remove fascia (1) from the vehicle.
