The Instrument Cluster (IC) (also known as the Instrument Panel Cluster/IPC) for this vehicle has an indicator ring (also known as a telltale ring) that encircles much of the outer circumference of the IC. The indicator ring has provisions for up to 26 indicators and also houses an ambient light sensor that the IC monitors to automatically adjust panel lighting to compensate for changes in ambient light conditions. Most of the indicators feature International Control and Display Symbol icons and all are illuminated by dedicated Light Emitting Diode units soldered onto the IC electronic circuit board. For more information on the International Control and Display Symbol icons. Refer to INTERNATIONAL VEHICLE CONTROL AND DISPLAY SYMBOLS, DESCRIPTION . Some of the indicators are automatically configured when the IC is connected to the electrical system of the vehicle for compatibility with certain optional equipment or equipment required for regulatory purposes in certain markets. While each IC may have provisions for indicators to support every available option, the configurable indicators will not function in vehicles that do not have the equipment that an indicator supports

The IC indicator ring includes provisions for the following indicators:

These indicators and LED units are serviced only as a unit with the IC. If damaged or ineffective, the entire IC assembly must be replaced.
