Seat Back, Rear: Installation

NOTE:
If the seat back pivot bracket (1) has been loosened, removed or service part replacement has taken place the nut (2) must be re-torqued.
- Tighten the seat back pivot bracket nut to 18 N-m (13 ft. lbs.).
- If separated, re-attach the seat backs (1).
- Position the seat backs (1) into the vehicle, ensuring the guide pin is seated into the center bracket.
- Install the fasteners (2) securing the seat back (1) to the bodyside. Tighten the fasteners to 40 N-m (30 ft. lbs.). Repeat for the opposite side.
- Position the seat back check bracket (2) to the bracket housing.
- Install the fastener securing the seat back check bracket (2). Tighten the fastener to 28 N-m (21 ft. lbs.).
- Close the liftgate.
