Section 2 (Body - Interior & Exterior - 500 - Electric): Exterior: Nameplate: Removal

NOTE:

Exterior nameplates are attached to body panels with adhesive tape.

1. Apply a length of masking tape on the panel (1), parallel to the top edge of the nameplate (2) to use as a guide, if necessary.
2. If temperature is below 21°C (70°F) warm emblem (2) with a heat lamp or gun. Do not exceed 52°C (120°F) when heating emblem.
3. Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, from behind the emblem (2) to separate the adhesive backing from the panel (1).
4. Clean adhesive residue from body with MOPAR® Super Kleen solvent or equivalent.
