Module, A/C And Heater: Removal

NOTE:

Air inlet housing removed from view for clarity.

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Remove the glove box. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL .
Disconnect the wire harness connector (4) from the A/C heater module (2), located on the right side of the HVAC housing (5).
NOTE:
Use a flexible drive socket to remove the lower module retaining screw (3).
Remove the three screws (1 and 3) that secure the A/C heater module to the housing and remove the module.
