DECKLID/Hatch/Liftgate/Tailgate/Swing Gate: Striker: Installation

1. Position the liftgate striker (1) onto the sill panel and align the striker (1) to the previously marked location.
2. Install the two fasteners (2) that secure the striker (1) to the sill panel. Tighten the fasteners to 12 Nm (9 lbf-ft).
3. Close the liftgate and verify proper functioning. Adjust if necessary.

4. Install the liftgate sill scuff plate. Refer to PLATE, SCUFF, REAR DOOR SILL, INSTALLATION .
5. Close the liftgate.
