Guide, Sunshade: Installation

Position the sunshade guide (1) to the sunroof assembly.
Loosely install all of the sunshade guide fasteners (2).
Align the sunshade guide fasteners (2) to the marks previously made on the sunroof frame.
Tighten the sunshade guide fasteners (1) securely.

With the use of a tape measure or equivalent, measure from a point on the sunshade guide edge (1) to the exact same point on the opposite sunshade guide edge.
The measurement (2) must be 832 mm (32.8 in.).
Repeat this measurement along the length of the sunshade guide (1).
If necessary, loosen the fasteners and adjust the sunshade guide (3) to maintain the 832 mm (32.8 in.) measurement side to side. Tighten the fasteners securely.

Install the sunshade (1),

Refer to SUNSHADE, SUNROOF, INSTALLATION .
Initialize the sunshade motor. Refer to MOTOR, SUNROOF, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Verify proper sunshade operation.
If necessary adjust the sunshade. Refer to GLASS, SUNROOF, FRONT, ADJUSTMENTS .
Install the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER, INSTALLATION .
