1 - RETAINING CLIP

2 - BALL SOCKET

3 - BALL STUD

Using a suitable device, support the seat in the forward position.

NOTE:

Lift the clips only enough to release the ball studs.

3 - FLAT BLADED TOOL

4 - BALL STUD

Using a small flat bladed tool, or equivalent, release the retaining clips while pulling the ball socket away from the ball stud.

CAUTION:
Do not pull the supports from the middle while removing.
Pulling at the end (1) only, remove the support cylinder (2) from the seat side ball socket.
Pulling at the end only, remove the support cylinder (2) from the seat riser (3) ball socket.
