Hinge, Hood: Removal

  1. With the help of an assistant, have the assistant hold the opposite side of hood that is being worked on.
  2. Remove the hood (3). Refer to HOOD, REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the cowl panel. Refer to COVER, COWL PANEL, REMOVAL .

  4. With the use of a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the hinge location to the body (1).
  5. Remove the hood hinge fasteners (2).
  6. Remove the hinge (1) from the vehicle.
