Housing, Fuel Fill: Removal

  1. Remove the rear wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL .
  2. Open the fuel filler door.
  3. Remove the fastener (4).
  4. Working from within the wheelhouse, release the upper retaining tabs (1) and then the lower retaining tabs (3).
  5. Remove the fuel filler housing (2) from the fuel filler tube.
  6. Remove the fuel filler housing (2) from the vehicle.
