Regulator, Window: Removal

Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove the rear door trim panel (1). Refer to PANEL, REAR DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL .
Remove the watershield. Refer to WATERSHIELD, REMOVAL .

Connect the battery negative cable.
Temporarily install the window switch pod (3) and lower the window (4) until the white regulator tab is visible in the access hole (1).
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable and remove the window switch pod (3).
Disconnect the window regulator motor wiring connector (2).

From within the access hole (1), release the window regulator tab (2) and lift the window up to disengage.
Lift the window up fully and secure it with tape or a wedge to prevent it from falling.

Remove the window regulator fasteners (1).
Remove the window regulator through the rear access hole in the door.
