Latch, Door: Removal

Position the door glass in the fully closed position.
Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Remove the rear door trim panel (1). Refer to PANEL, REAR DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL .
Remove the watershield. Refer to PANEL, REAR DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL .

Remove the three fasteners (1) securing the latch to the inner door.

Remove the outer handle rod cable (1) from the retainer (2) and rotate out of the retaining clip (3).
Disconnect the latch wiring connector (5).
Remove the latch (4) from the door.
