Door, Rear: Removal

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Open the rear door.
Lift the door wiring harness connector (4) locking retainer upward.
Pull the door wiring harness connector (4) inboard to disconnect.
Remove the fastener (2) securing the door's check strap to the body side.
Close the door slightly, to cycle the check strap toward the door, to the first catch.
Remove the fasteners (1) securing the upper door hinge halve to the body side halve.

Remove the fasteners (3) securing the lower door hinge halve to the body side halve (2).
With the help of an assistant, lift the door up and then out to remove.
