WATERSHIELD, Door: Removal
NOTE:
Always replace the water shield, even if it was removed intact. The adhesive will not guaranty the necessary seal once it has been removed from the inner door.
- Remove the trim door panel (1).
Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL .
- Remove the front door speaker. Refer to SPEAKER, REMOVAL
.
- Carefully, detach the adhesive (1) of the water shield (2) from the entire perimeter of the inner door.
- Disconnect the wiring routing retainers and route the harnesses (2) through the water shield (3).
- Route the latch cable (1) through the water shield (3).
- Remove the water shield (3) from the door.
