Glass, Door: Removal

Position the door glass in the fully open position.
Remove the front door trim panel (1). Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL .
Remove the watershield. Refer to WATERSHIELD, DOOR, REMOVAL .
Remove the outside rear view mirror. Refer to MIRROR, OUTSIDE REARVIEW, REMOVAL .
Remove the outer belt molding. Refer to MOLDING, DOOR BELT, OUTER, REMOVAL .

Remove the rear portion of the glass run channel (1).
Remove the three door applique fasteners (3).
Remove the door applique (2) releasing it from the upper corner of the glass run channel (1).

Connect the battery negative cable.
Temporarily install the window switch pod and raise the window until the white regulator tab is visible in the access hole (1).
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable and remove the window switch pod.

From within the access hole (1), release the window regulator tab (2) and lift the window up to disengage.

Remove the door glass (1) from the outside of the door.

If necessary, remove the glass guide retaining clip (2) from the glass.
1. Remove the center pin (1) from the glass guide retaining clip (2).
2. Open the glass guide retaining clip (2).
3. Remove the glass guide retaining clip (2) from the glass.
