Jet, Piston Oil Cooler: Installation

NOTE:

Piston oil cooler jet for cylinder three shown. Piston oil cooler jets for cylinders one, two and four are similar.

Using a suitable driver (1), install the piston oil cooler jet(s) (2) into the engine block.
Install the crankshaft. Refer to CRANKSHAFT, INSTALLATION .
Install the piston and connecting rod(s). Refer to ROD, PISTON AND CONNECTING, INSTALLATION .
If removed, install the oil filter and fill the engine crankcase with the proper oil to the correct level. Refer to OIL, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Connect the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.).
Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature. Check cooling system for correct fluid level. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
