Armrest, Rear: Removal
- On the inboard side cover (1), using a small flat bladed tool or equivalent, remove the fastener cover from the fastener (3).
- Remove the fasteners (3) from the inboard side cover.
- Remove the fasteners cover and fastener from the rear of the inboard side cover (2).
- Remove the inboard side cover (1) from the seat.
- Lower the armrest fully.
- Untuck the inboard vertical seat back cover zipper (2).
- Unfasten the zipper (2) fully to release the tension on the seat back cover material (2) in the armrest area.
- Position the seat cover material aside to access the armrest retaining clips (2).
- Using a small pick tool or equivalent, remove the lock clip (1) from both sides of the armrest retaining clips (2).NOTE:
Care should be used as to not drop the lock clip (1) into the seat.
- Position the seat cover material aside to access the retaining tabs (1) on the armrest retaining clips.
- With the armrest in the down position, press the retaining tabs (1).
- While continuing to press the retaining tabs (2), rotate the armrest (3) toward the closed position. At the same time rotating the retaining clips around the armrest bracket (1).
- Rotate the armrest (1) out of the armrest pocket, releasing it from the armrest brackets.
