Panel, Door Trim: Removal

NOTE:

Left side shown, right side similar.

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Using trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, remove the side view mirror flag (1).
Disconnect the power mirror wiring connector, if so equipped.

Using trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, remove the door tweeter cover (1).

With the use of a small pick tool remove the fastener cover in the power window switch/grab handle (2) pocket.
Remove the fastener (1).
Using trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, release the window switch/grab handle (2) inner retainers.
Disconnect the window switch wiring connectors, if so equipped.

Remove the fasteners (2) from the door trim panel (1).
Using trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, remove the door trim panel inner retainers.
Lift the door trim panel (1) up to detach the inner belt molding from the door flange. Do not remove the trim panel at this time.

Looking in from behind the door trim panel, disconnect the latch rod (1) from the door trim panel (2) and the interior latch handle (3).
Disconnect the tweeter wiring connector.
Remove the trim panel from the door.
