Seat Back, Front: Assembly

  1. If necessary, install the air bag onto the seat back frame. Refer to AIR BAG, SEAT, INSTALLATION .
  2. If necessary, install a new heated seat pad onto the seat back cushion. Refer to PAD, HEATER, INSTALLATION .
  3. Position the seat back cover (1) onto the seat back cushion (3) and attach new hog rings (2).

  4. Fold the seat back cover (2) completely over to the back of the seat back cushion (1).
  5. Install the seat back cover and cushion onto the seat back frame.

    NOTE:

    Typical front seat back and head restraint sleeves shown.

  6. Install the headrest sleeves (2) by aligning and pushing down on the sleeves.

  7. Fasten the lower J-channel (3) on bottom of seat cover (2).
  8. Secure the zippers (1) on both sides of the seat back cover (2).
  9. Tuck the zipper ends up into the seat cover.

  10. Position the head restraint (1) to the seat back.
  11. Press the tabs on the head restraint sleeves (2).
  12. While pressing the tabs (2), push the head restraint (1) straight downward.
