There are two versions of the sunroof, a fixed glass sunroof and a power glass sunroof. The sunroof frame is bolted and bonded to the body structure to provide a sealed and structurally strong installation.
The power sunroof consists of a moveable glass panel and a front wind deflector. When opened, the glass panel runs on top of the roof acting as a spoiler.
NOTE:
The front header panel is a black shiny panel positioned between the sunroof glass and the windshield. This panel is only serviced with the sunroof frame an is attached to the frame with urethane. It is not possible to remove the header panel without damaging it.
The fixed glass sunroof frame must be replaced with the glass if the frame requires replacement.
