Seat Back, Rear: Installation

NOTE:

If the seat back pivot bracket (1) has been loosened, removed or service part replacement has taken place the nut (2) must be re-torqued.

Tighten the seat back pivot bracket nut to 18 Nm (13 lbf-ft).

If separated, re-attach the seat backs (1).
Position the seat backs (1) into the vehicle, ensuring the guide pin is seated into the center bracket.
Install the fasteners (2) securing the seat back (1) to the bodyside. Tighten the fasteners to 40 Nm (30 lbf-ft). Repeat for the opposite side.

Position the seat back check bracket (2) to the bracket housing.
Install the fastener securing the seat back check bracket (2). Tighten the fastener to 28 Nm (21 lbf-ft).
Close the liftgate.
