Bezel, Instrument Panel, Center: Installation

WARNING:

On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, disconnecting the 12 volt battery negative cable alone will not power down the 12 volt system. You must perform the 12 volt Power Down procedure before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.

Position the center trim bezel (1) near the instrument panel cover and connect the harness to the switch pod.
Align the center trim bezel (1) and hand tap to engage the retaining clips.
Open the glove box door, install the center trim bezel's retaining screw located on the upper right edge of the glove box cavity. Tighten the screw securely.

Install the two screws (1 and 3) that secure center trim bezel (2) to the instrument panel cover. Tighten the screws securely.
Install the A/C and heater control panel. Refer to CONTROL, A/C AND HEATER, INSTALLATION .
On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, power up the 12 volt system.
Refer to 12 VOLT POWER UP .
Connect the 12 volt negative battery cable.
