Personal Settings Mode

The personal settings mode allows the operator to set and recall customer programmable features. This mode is only available while the automatic transmission is in Park or while the is not moving with a manual transmission. Access this mode by pressing and releasing the MENU/ESC  button until PERSONAL SETTINGS  is displayed in the EVIC. Pressing and releasing the plus (+  ) and minus (-  ) buttons will scroll through the following personal settings choices:

• Language  - When in this display you may select one of five languages for all display nomenclature, including the trip functions. Pressing and releasing the plus (+  ) and minus (-  ) buttons will scroll through the available languages. Once the desired language is selected, pressing and releasing the MENU/ESC  button will choose that setting and the EVIC information will display in the selected language.
• Display Units of Measure  - The EVIC, trip odometer and navigation system (if equipped) can be changed between US and Metric units of measure. To make your selection, press and release the plus (+  ) and minus (-  ) buttons the SCROLL/STEP  button until the desired unit of measure is displayed. Once the desired unit is selected, pressing and releasing the MENU/ESC  button will choose that setting and the EVIC information (except total odometer) will display in the selected unit of measure.
