Deflector, Wind: Removal

  1. Open the folding top cover fully.
  2. Remove the trim lace in the area of the wind deflector.
  3. Place a flat bladed tool between the wind deflector mounting bracket (1) and the wind deflector arm (2) and pry inboard to separate.
  4. Recover the washer/bushing (3).
  5. Repeat on the opposite side.

  6. Drill out the nine rivets (1).
  7. Remove the wind deflector (1) from the vehicle.
