Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC

NOTE:

Make sure the battery is fully charged before proceeding.

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on vehicle work order.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes
- Perform the No Response From BCM (Body Control Module) diagnostic procedure. Refer to NO RESPONSE FROM BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) or NO RESPONSE FROM BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) for electric models .
No
- Perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure. Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS or STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS for electric models .
