Glass, Liftgate: Removal

NOTE:
Windshield removal shown, backlight similar.
- Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Refer to WARNING .
- Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Remove rear window wiper arm, if equipped. Refer to ARM, WIPER, REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the heated backlight electrical connectors, if equipped.
- Using a windshield cut-out wire or other suitable tool, separate the adhesive.
- Carefully remove backlight.
