Mirror, Outside Rearview: Removal

WARNING:
On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, disconnecting the 12 volt battery negative cable alone will not power down the 12 volt system. You must perform the 12 volt Power Down procedure before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.
- On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, power down the 12 volt system. Refer to ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Disconnect the negative 12 volt battery cable.
- Using trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick), pry up the exterior mirror trim cover (2).
- Disconnect wire connector from wire harness.
- Remove the fasteners securing the exterior mirror (1) to the door.
- Remove the mirror (1).
