Knob, Gearshift: Installation

  1. Install the retention spring to the shift knob.

  2. Align the collar keyway (1) so that it installs on the knob facing forward.

  3. Install the collar to the shift knob and seat fully.

  4. Install the shift knob (1) onto the shifter shaft (2) and seat fully, an audible click should be heard.
  5. Firmly pull up on the knob to verify proper installation.
