A/C Liquid Line Removal
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
WARNING:
On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, disconnecting the 12 volt battery negative cable alone will not power down the 12 volt system. You must perform the 12 volt Power Down procedure before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.
- Remove the electric motor trim cover.
- Power down the high-voltage system. Refer to ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Disconnect the negative 12 volt battery cable.
- Recover the refrigerant from the refrigerant system. Refer to REFRIGERANT SYSTEM RECOVERY .
- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Remove the power electronics coolant reservoir. Refer to RESERVOIR, POWER ELECTRONICS COOLANT, REMOVAL
- Remove the battery coolant reservoir. Refer to RESERVOIR, BATTERY COOLANT, REMOVAL .
