Input Shaft, Transmission: Assembly

  1. install the hub and the third gear to the shaft using bearing splitter (special tool #P-334, Splitter, Bearing).

  2. Install the collar using bearing splitter (special tool #P-334, Splitter, Bearing)

  3. Install the sleeve and detents to the hub assembly.

  4. Install the forth driven gear, thrust washer and blocker ring from the shaft.

  5. Install the rear input shaft rear bearing (3), spacer (2) and collar using bearing splitter (special tool #P-334, Splitter, Bearing) and bushing installer (special tool #8145, Installer, Bushing) (1).

  6. Install the front bearing using bearing splitter (special tool #P-334, Splitter, Bearing).
