Diagnostic Test

IN PLANT TEST FAILURE
1. Turn the ignition on.
  NOTE:
  This DTC is set when the APP Sensors are learned in plant but do not reach the Minimum or Maximum voltage range.
2. With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order.
3. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
4. Start the engine.
5. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
  Is the DTC active or pending?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
APP Sensor RELEARN
1. With a scan tool, perform the Reset Accelerator Pedal Adaptives routine.
2. Next, erase DTCs.
3. Start the engine.
  Does the DTC return?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the APP Sensor Assembly in accordance with the service information. Refer to PEDAL, ACCELERATOR, REMOVAL . After installation is complete, use a scan tool and perform the Reset Accelerator Pedal Adaptives routine.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Test Complete.
