Solenoid, Evaporative Emissions Purge: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the vacuum hose (4) from purge solenoid (1).
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the purge solenoid (1).
  4. Remove the retaining clip (2) and the purge solenoid (1) from the intake manifold.
