Horn System (Service Information) 500 - Except Electric: Horn: Removal

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the splash shield from the left front wheel house. Refer to REMOVAL .
3. Disconnect the wire harness electrical connector (2) from the horn (3).
4. Remove the screw (1) that secures the horn bracket to the left outboard end of the Front End Module (FEM) carrier.
5. Remove the horn and bracket as a unit from the FEM carrier.
