Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. With the scan tool, read Amplifier DTCs and record on the repair order.
2. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
3. Using the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
4. With the scan tool, read Amplifier DTCs.
  Did the DTC return?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
LEFT SUBWOOFER ELECTRICAL CONNECTION CHECK
1. Disconnect the Left Subwoofer and Amplifier harness connectors.
2. Check for the presence of loose or damaged connections at the Left Subwoofer and Amplifier harness connectors.
  Were there signs of any of the connections being loose or damaged?
  
  Yes
  - Restore the correct connections.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 3
CHECK THE LEFT SUBWOOFER FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Measure the voltage on the Left Subwoofer Signal circuit at the Left Subwoofer harness connector.
  Is there any voltage present?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the Left Subwoofer Signal circuit for a short to voltage.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - End of diagnosis.
