Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. With the scan tool, read Amplifier DTCs and record on the repair order.
2. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
3. Using the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
4. With the scan tool, read Amplifier DTCs.
  Did the DTC return?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
LEFT REAR TWEETER/SPEAKER ELECTRICAL CONNECTION CHECK
1. Disconnect the Left Rear Tweeter/Speaker and Amplifier harness connectors.
2. Check for the presence of loose or damaged connections at the Left Rear Tweeter/Speaker and Amplifier harness connectors.
  Were there signs of any of the connections being loose or damaged?
  
  Yes
  - Restore the correct connections.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 3
CHECK THE LEFT REAR MIDWOOFER SPEAKER FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Measure the voltage on the Left Rear Midwoofer Speaker Signal circuit at the Left Rear Midwoofer Speaker harness connector.
  Is there any voltage present?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the Left Rear Midwoofer Speaker Signal circuit for a short to voltage.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - End of diagnosis.
